Since our founding in 1937 in the Semba district of Osaka, we have remained dedicated to the textile processing industry for nearly 90 years, continuously working with yarn while maintaining our roots in Osaka despite relocating our facilities over the years.
Leveraging opportunities to work with yarns sourced from around the world, regardless of their origin, we actively engage in the research and development of innovative materials for yarns and fabrics. We also provide flexible support for yarn-related issues and a wide range of technical consultations.

We are particularly proud of our Yarn Gassing, a technique for which Toyotashigyo possesses truly unique expertise unmatched anywhere in the world.
Through this process, every fiber is singed evenly in all 360 degrees by flame, removing excess fuzz and creating a yarn that is exceptionally smooth and lustrous. This gives the material a distinctive, value-added finish that enhances the quality of any product made from it.
Yarn Gassing requires remarkable precision and experience. If the flame is too strong, the yarn becomes oversinged and may scorch or break. If the flame is too weak, the fuzz remains. Achieving the perfect balance—adjusting both the intensity of the flame and the speed of threading according to the characteristics of each yarn—demands highly skilled craftsmanship.
