糸の結び方

糸の加工をしていると糸が切れることがあるので、切れた糸を結んでつなぎますが、目立たない結び方があり、それをはた結びと言います。

はた結びには、ニットなど滑りにくい糸には片結び（ウィバース）、織物など滑りやすい糸には両結び（フィッシャーマン）と2種類あります。

使用用途により結び方を使い分けています。

When processing yarn, the yarn may break, so the broken yarn is tied to join it, but there is an inconspicuous way of tying it, which is called a hatamusubi.

There are two types of hatamusubi: weaver's knot(katamusubi) for non-slippery yarns such as knitwear, and fisherman's knot(ryoumusubi) for slippery yarns such as woven fabrics.

The knot is used in different ways depending on the intended use.
